Hey, I’m Tay.

I take photos that actually feel like you. Candid and a little bit nostalgic, like if a magazine ad and a film photo from a 1999 family BBQ had a baby. My work is all about capturing the feelings you didn’t know you’d want to remember.

I was born and raised in Southern California and am grateful to call Long Beach home. Photography has been in my life for as long as I can remember. My dad used to fly through rolls of film, taking pictures of everything and everyone he loved. Watching him have so much fun doing something that meant so much to him made me want to do the same ever since.

I studied mathematics at CSULB with plans to become a college math teacher. I’m proud I did something (very) difficult but have realized I prefer to be flexible, creative, and travel!

In my pursuit of teaching I learned that everyone shows up differently and patience is not only a skill but an asset I fine tune every single day. If you’re nervous to book a portrait, couples shoot, or even candids, we can set up a quick pre-shoot meet & greet to walk through everything and make sure you feel totally at ease before we get started.

I work with both film (35mm & 120mm) and digital photos so let’s do something that feels like you.
